Welcome to the website for Keepers of Azeroth!

KoA is a mature endgame raiding guild located on Dentarg-US [A] [PVP] [EST]. We raid 8:30pm to 12:30pm EST, nearly every day depending on our progression.

Non Members:
Whether you're a non-member raiding with us or a possible new recruit, we ask you take a moment to click the 'spoiler' link below and follow the directions listed there.

|--> Your login id MUST match the name of your main toon or we will deny it and make you do it again. If you do not get the verification email, contact me so I can manually verify your account. Please do not keep creating multiple accounts in the system. It's an error we are aware of and in the process of fixing. Thank you.

STEP TWO: Apply to the guild (possible new recruits only)
|--> If you're interested in joining the guild, there is an application process. Please click here to get started.

STEP THREE: Create a Character
|--> You'll need to tell the system which toons belong to you. If you're a non-member simply raiding with us, you'll be able to earn and spend koa dkp if you've created an account and told the system which toon is yours. If you're a possible recruit, you'll need to do this eventually to earn dkp so you might as well get started now. :) You just need to click "Create a Character" to the right of this page and enter the toon's name(s) and then wait for an officer to approve it.

|--> You'll need to tell the system which toons belong to you. We've imported a list of toons from the guild roster. You just need to click "Create a Character" to the right of this page and enter the toon's name(s) and then wait for us to approve it.

STEP THREE: Enter your Raid Availability
|--> Please tell us (as accurately as possible based on your schedule) when you are available and willing to raid 25 Man raids. We will use this data to schedule our raid calendar. Please list any/all times you are interested in raiding as this will allow us to fine-tune our raiding schedule.

|--> We hope you enjoy the new changes as well as find that the information most commonly sought is much more readily accessible. Just because the site is up, doesn't mean it's not still a work in progress. We'll have more guides up soon as well as things will start to be come a little more organized. There are more features planned along the way and your feedback is always welcomed. Please feel free to add your comments to this news post once you've registered so we will know how we're doing.

From the Desk of: Your super awesome and gorgeous Guild Leader, Tayluka. XD

Four years ago my husband (Beastofvegas), my husband's friend (Aziza), and a very nice gentleman we met in our travels in Azeroth (Kokkanee) and myself got together to discuss our futures in World of Warcraft. We had been playing the game for a little while and recognized that there was something special about it that was keeping us playing despite our personal and professional obligations. We looked around for a guild that met our needs and, sadly, found Dentarg lacking.

Together, we decided to get signatures for a guild charter. At that time, we simply had hoped to create a guild with a mature, friendly environment to help players level together and one day come together as a team to tackle those pesky raids that everyone kept talking about. I never would have imagined that as the months, and then years, began to pass we would have created such a strong community of like-minded gaming adults and that we would still be together four years later.

I know that at this time attendance is at a low point. We spent the summer waiting for everyone to stop playing in the sun and get back into the game. Now, we find ourselves waiting again as a new school year begins as well as a busy work season for many of our members. Add to that, we are on the eve of an expansion and people are simply doing other things as they wait for the expac to release. I recognize that it has been discouraging for those members who continue to log in, day after day. Despite these road blocks, we are holding strong and extremely excited about what's over the horizon.

On 04 September, 2010, <Keepers of Azeroth> will be celebrating it's 4th year as a guild on Dentarg. This is a huge accomplishment for us as a guild and I will try my best not to be overly emotional about it but, you know, it's kind of a big deal. We've had rough patches, we're in one right now, but the many wonderful and joyous memories that I have from the past four years far outweigh any of the negatives from the past.

I want to personally thank those who have been with us through the rough patches. Your loyalty, and most importantly, your friendship has meant more to me than I can ever say. I also want to thank those who have recently joined us or who are considering joining us -- you are part of KoA's future and that makes you just as important as those who have been with us in the past.

I invite you all to join us on Saturday, 04 Sept 2010 at 9:30pm EST, to celebrate our accomplishments as a guild. We'll be having some games, raffles, prizes, and guild photos and I encourage any and all who are Keepers to join us during this time even if you haven't been playing lately. Please help spread the word to those who have been inactive and extend our invitation to them. I've already gone on long enough so I'll simply end with: KoA FTW!

KoA would like to congratulate Shownomercy on his Insane in the Membrane achievement, which he earned on 19 May, 2010!

Shownomercy kept a detailed blog post about his adventures in obtaining this achievement which you can view here. We want to thank Shownomercy for sharing the journey into obtaining a very difficult achievement with us!
