Keepers of Azeroth: Request for Item vs Wanted Gear

Request for Item vs Wanted Gear
Wanted Items

The "Wanted Items" section can be best viewed as your Wish List.

This is a place where you can keep a list of the items that you want the most and why. This area is completely optional. This can be used in many ways:

[1] As a personal list to help you organize and keep track of items you wish to obtain.
[2] As a shopping list of things you might want others to know you would like for a particular reason or season (christmas wish list perhaps?)
[3] If used properly, could be used to let other raiders know which items you are in most need of so perhaps they'd be more understanding when you roll on that item you desperately have been wanting.

The "Request for Item" (RFI for short) section is the place where you officially request an item(s) from the guild. This is the area where all official requests are tracked and administrated. There are two uses for this section:
[1] To request an item from the guild bank.
[2] To be placed on the official waiting list for crafting of T5/T6 items.

Guild Bank Item Requests
- Minimum rank required to make guild bank requests is "Member Rank".
- To request an item from the guild bank, you need to visit the Guild Bank page. On that page, you will find the contents of the guild vault as well as the remaining items on the old guild bank toons. There is a link next to each item that looks like this (req) . This is the link you will use to request an item from the bank. Once clicked, a pop up will display for you to submit your request. You MUST use the comments box to FULLY explain what you will be using the item for and why you want it. If you fail to provide notes, we will fail to provide you with the item. An officer will review your request and process it accordingly.

T5/T6 Craftable Items Request
- We have guild approved crafters who can make BOE items from the BOP recipes that drop from SSC/TK/MH/BT. We provide the vortex and hearts of darkness for the crafting of these items for guild members. To request to be put on the waiting list for these items, you must manually fill out a request on the RFI page. To be put on the waiting list for one of these items, you must meet the following requirements:
[1] Main Raiding Spec - These items must be for the crafting of an item which will be used for your main raiding spec for your main toon. Exceptions may be made for alts if you are actively and consistently raiding on your alt, in which case, we may have the conversation to discuss reconsidering your main vs alt status.
[2] Significant Upgrade - This should be a significant enough upgrade to warrant using the mats for the crafting of the item.
[3] Have the other mats - We will not approve a request for vortex or heart of darkness until you have gathered the rest of the required mats. Do not submit a request for either item until you have obtained the remaining mats first.

Epic Gems Request
- Pre-cut epic gems will be given to consistently active raiders (determined by officer discretion based on previous progression raid attendance) when they receive a T6 item that has gem sockets from BT or MH. When you have received a T6 item, you will do your research to decide which gem would be best suited for placement in the socket, request that gem from the guild bank with notes on the cut you wish to receive, and the gem will be precut by a guild JC prior to being given to you.

ALL GUILD BANK REQUESTS
- ALL guild bank requests will be done via the RFI on the website. It may take an hour up to a few days before you are contacted with a decision and/or given the item. If you request something from the guild bank and can't be patient enough to give the officers time to review the request and get the item at their leisure, then you are more than welcome to purchase the item from an alternate source such as the auction house and/or trade chat. Guild bank items are there to help the guild but are not something we make a significant priority and we expect a small amount of courtesy and common sense when requesting items from it.
